First let me begin by saying thank you for visiting my website. It is my hope that you will find inspiration for your next strap here. My name is Patrick, I’m an IBEW electrician in St. Paul, MN. So Many Knots makes custom made shoulder straps (ropes) for toolboxes, lunchboxes, etc.

With rope made in America by Atwood Rope Mfg. and hand knotted by myself in St. Paul, MN, these ropes are both creative and functional.

Used primarily as shoulder straps for lunchboxes and toolboxes their utility is both functional as well as visually appealing. No two ropes are alike and every single rope is tied slowly and methodically to create a durable and unique tool that will last for years to come.

I only use Atwood Rope for my projects, all pre-made and custom ropes have the following specs: rope size is 3/8“ (9.5mm), 1200 lbs (544 kg) tensile strength, 16 oz (454 g) weight (per 50 feet), full fiber core, colors will not run or bleed, UV and rot resistant, synthetic, Made in USA, and finally this rope is NOT RATED to be used as a lifeline.
